As his capstone project, Jonathan is developing a Climate Change Vulnerability Index (CCVI) that will take in to account the physical hazard presented by climate change combined with social vulnerability.
Using the Localized Constructed Analog (LOCA) data from the National Climate Assessment and the Centers for Disease Control’s Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) this novel approach to measure climate change impact will give results for multiple scenarios (RCPs) out to the end of the 21st century.
